Without the right help at the right time, abused and neglected children are more likely to do badly at school, display aggressive behaviour, struggle to form loving relationships or commit crime. They may even become abusive parents themselves, unable to break free from this terrible cycle of damaging behaviour.
We know that giving practical support to children at risk is vital for giving them a good start in life. Intervening at an early age significantly reduces the likelihood of juvenile delinquency, suicide, learning difficulties, drug and alcohol abuse and recurrence of abuse. Read Joel's story.

Your donation will go to our child protection and early intervention programs to ensure that we can reach out to more children, to keep them safe and build a brighter future.
$50 will provide individual counselling sessions to help parents get back on track
$100 will fund three play therapy sessions for children who have experienced abuse
$200 will provide eight hours of volunteer home visits for families trying to cope with mental illness, social isolation and other problems
Neglect can spiral into a cycle of despair, which is why is it so important that we work with families as early as we can, before things get out of control. In some communities we are only reaching 10% of the children and families who need our help. That's why we're asking for your support.
