Volunteering is a great way to be a part of The Benevolent Society’s work.
We have the valued support of approximately 900 volunteers throughout the year who assist us in our mission to create caring and inclusive communities and a just society.
By becoming a volunteer you have an opportunity to help make a difference. Whether you’re interested in events, administration, fundraising, program support or social visiting, we have opportunities for volunteers with a range of different skills, knowledge and experience.
Volunteering provides an opportunity to learn new skills and to develop existing ones. With such a variety of volunteering opportunities on offer, there's bound to be something to suit you.
Above all, it’s a chance to make a real difference.
By volunteering with The Benevolent Society you’ll be improving the lives of other people and playing your part in creating caring and inclusive communities and a just society.
At The Benevolent Society we provide training, supervision and support for all volunteer roles.
If you have spare time and want to put your skills, talents, energy and passion to work in the community with The Benevolent Society, please visit our Volunteer Opportunities page or call the Manager Volunteer Programs on 02 9339 8086.
