Social Leadership Australia has introduced a new leadership philosoophy to Australia - a fearless approach to learning that distrupts traditional thinking and empowers leaders with tools to bring about lasting change.

Unique in Australia, our world-class programs employ the powerful Adaptive Leadership model developed by Ron Heifetz at Harvard — but we teach in the 'real world', not a classroom.

Last year alone more than 500 people from business, government and community organisations discovered the meaning of real leadership in a Social Leadership Australia program.

Open programs

We offer three open programs for individuals including our flagship Sydney Leadership program (est 1999) and our inaugural Queensland Leadership program (est 2009) as well as our four day Introduction to Adaptive Leadership intensive.

Customised programs

We work with diverse organisations to develop and deliver customised programs that build their internal leadership capacity — helping them to manage complex change and make positive social contributions. Our clients include government departments, not-for-profit organisations, and Top 100 companies.

Social Leadership Australia also engages directly with specific communities of interest to develop partnerships that will lead to progress in tackling entrenched social issues, such as our current Headland project for emerging Indigenous leaders.

SLA Alumni

Graduates from our open programs join our growing and committed network of Social Leadership Australia Alumni. The connections made during an invigorating year together from a platform for a dynamic community of change agents, opening doors that otherwise would remain closed and creating opportunities to form new partnerships across sectors.
