The Woolloomooloo Community Connector Project works with local families who have children 0–8 years to help them build their skills and support them to develop informal support networks.
Recent activities have included a free eight week cooking course providing tips for cooking fun and nutritious meals on a limited budget and a very successful laughter and relaxation group for mothers.

The project also works with local services with the aim of improving service coordination and access for families.
The project, which is a Families NSW strategy, prioritises families who are socially isolated or economically disadvantaged, young or sole parent families, or from an Aboriginal or culturally and linguistically diverse background and with additional support needs.
