The North Gold Coast Early Years Centre provides families who have young children with a parenting 'one stop shop' – somewhere they can access a range of support and services to improve their children's health, well-being and safety.
The Early Years Centre is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm, Saturday mornings, and is also available after hours to deliver programs as required.
Services that are currently available include:
- Community Child Health Nurse
- MAD Group for mums and dads finding contentment in parenting
- Jellybeanz supported playgroups
- Sing and Grow music program
- Triple P parenting groups
- Play With Me group - a five week program for parents with infants aged six weeks to six months
- Explore With Me group - a program for parents with infants aged from birth to 18 months
- Stay and Play - an opportunity for parents and children to drop in and meet Centre staff and other parents
- Saturday playgroup
We also offer individual advice and support to families as required, at our centre or in people's homes.
Free childminding by trained volunteers is available for many of our groups.
