Apartments for Life at Ocean Street: Project Plans
The Benevolent Society submitted a development application (DA) to Waverley Council on 21 May 2008. Since then The Society has taken into account community and Council feedback on its plans and has made significant revisions. Amended plans were lodged with Waverley Council on 11 March 2009. The Council deferred their decision about the Development Application (DA) in August 2009.
In November 2009, The Benevolent Society initiated a hearing in the Land and Environment Court on the Apartments for Life project. The proposed hearing will seek endorsement of the revised development plans. For more information, please see the media release.
