Apartments for Life at Ocean Street: Project plans
The Benevolent Society plans to build accessible, appropriate and affordable housing for older people on its site at Ocean Street Bondi in Sydney’s east.
Our preferred project plan for the Apartments for Life at Ocean Street was presented to the local community in early April 2008, prior to the lodgement of a development application with Waverley Council.
The following storyboards, on display at the open Community Information and Feedback Session on 5 April, show the ideas behind the project, what the complex would look like and how we would address important matters such as environmental sustainability, traffic issues, solar access and so on.
