The Benevolent Society works with women to strengthen their skills and confidence to create fulfilling futures.
Despite their immense contribution to society, many of the roles women play are undervalued, leaving many women feeling less than confident in their abilities. Women can also become isolated, for reasons ranging from life changes and loss, to abuse and loss of confidence.
Our programs provide a safe and supportive place for women to explore, create and thrive. With opportunities to connect with others, learn new skills, share interests and value their own knowledge and experience, women can find a sense of emotional, physical, social and intellectual wellbeing and claim their rightful place in the community.
At the Centre for Women’s Health in Campbelltown, women can:
- use computers in our internet cafe
- get creative in our arts and crafts workshops
- access groups to help develop financial skills and knowledge
- participate in autonmous and mutual support groups
The Centre is currently developing a new volunteers and community engagement strategy.
